Welcome to the Flint River Valley Chapter of Michigan Steelheaders Web Page.  Located in Flint Michigan, the Flint Steelheaders was formed in 1976 and since then has helped by playing a key role in the development and conservation of Great Lakes sport fishing. 

Flint's 375 members have a wide interest range.  From our fishing tournaments and outings, monthly membership meetings, the Spring Boat & Fishing Show at the Birch Run Expo Center, golf outings, fund raisers, the holiday dinner dance and awards banquet in December.  There are many other activities that the whole family would enjoy.

Fishing Hours- Saturday-6am-2pm, Sunday-6am-1pm

SEVERAL NETS FROM LAST YEAR HAVE BROKEN AWAY FROM THERE ANCHOR POINTS AND ARE ADRIFT IN THE MANISTEE & LUDINGTON AREAS.  A DNR BOAT GOT TANGLED UP IN ONE WHILE OTHERS HAVE WASHED UP ON SHORE.  BE VERY CAREFUL NAVIGATING (IF AT ALL) IN THESE AREAS
