Joining us on January 15th for our membership meeting will be some very special speakers. Some say they are the best anglers ever to fish the Great Lakes … Captain’s Bill Bale and Dave Engel from Best Chance Too Charters will be here to discuss fishing on the Great Lakes. We are expecting a huge crowd for this meeting so you might want to come early to get a seat. Extra seating will be available on a first come first serve basis. Our membership meetings are held upstairs at Walli’s on Center Road. Social hour begins at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:30 … make plans and we’ll see you there.

Reminder—The November Meeting is scheduled for November 6th this month so we don’t interfere with the gun opener on the 15th. Besides the normal raffle prizes and schedule, our guests will be Directors from the MCRGO (Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners) this group is growing in members and they have a direct link to the Representatives in Lansing. The Flint River Valley Steelheaders last little water event is this Saturday the 28th, on the Big Manistee River. This is a free event and you can fish from shore or in a boat. This is a great time to bring all your friends and family along. The tournament will start at 6am, but there will be no Captain meeting in the morning. Anglers will meet at High Bridge boat launch at 12:30pm for weigh-in. If you have any questions please contact Randy Bailey. See you there.

It came on 10 colors of lead with a green glow latter back j plug. This
King Salmon gave a good battle for over a half hour, and the fish won, he
broke the line at the back of the boat, what a great time.

The next Flint River Valley Steelheaders tournament will be Saturday August 17th in Frankfort. This is going to be the last Big Water event for the season, so make plans to attend.
